Shop & availability

Pause your shop for a short time (holiday mode)

Pausing takes your shop off the market for a break: your shop and items are kept, but no longer appear in search and catalogue, and new orders, enquiries or bookings are not possible in the meantime. With an end date the shop reopens automatically afterwards; ongoing transactions continue. If you are only fully booked on certain days, it is better to block those days in the availability calendar – then your shop stays reachable for all other dates.

Tips & Tricks

This page collects short video guides with a description. They show how to find and inquire about equipment, event venues and service providers on Eventtool, and how vendors manage their offering. We add new guides step by step. You see the guides in your language. If there are none in your language yet, the English ones appear with a note at the top; if only one topic is missing, the English card is shown alongside (with the code “EN” next to the title).

Two sections

For customers: Search & find, Inquire & book, Event planning.
For vendors: shop, items, calendar, inquiries and advertising.
At the top of the page, each section has a tile with an icon, a short line and the number of videos. Click a tile to jump straight to that section. A tile only appears once the section has at least one video.
When you are signed in as a vendor, the vendor topics come first.
Once a section has two or more topics, “Filter by topic” narrows the list. “All topics” shows everything again.

How a card works

Preview image: click the image with the play symbol to start the video in your browser. If the length of the video is given, it is shown in the bottom right corner of the image.
Description: shown below the title; it contains the points the video only mentions briefly.
See also: links to related guides. A click jumps to the matching card, which briefly lights up in gold, and clears any topic filter.
Go to the feature: takes you to the place on Eventtool that the video is about. For vendor topics you only see this button when you are signed in as a vendor; everyone else sees “List your business for free now” instead.
Link to a guide: every card has its own address with an anchor (e.g. /en/tutorials#pause-shop). Opening the link takes you straight to that card.

No guide for your topic yet?

“No tips available yet” only appears if there is no guide in your language, nor in English or German.
