Eventtool Payment Service
Buyers pay directly on the platform, the money is held in escrow and paid out to the vendor after the service is delivered.

Own Invoice
Classic — the vendor issues an invoice and bills the customer directly. Eventtool is not the payment processor.

What the vendor pays in fees
The customer pays exactly the listed price — no surcharges. Two items are deducted from the vendor's payout: the payment gateway fee (Stripe or PayPal) and, if configured, an Eventtool fee (handling markup plus platform commission).

Gateway fee: 1.50% + 0.25 €
Eventtool fee:
25% on gateway fee
PayPal
Gateway fee: 2.49% + 0.35 €
Eventtool fee:
25% on gateway fee
Formula: vendor payout = list price − gateway fee − Eventtool fee. If Eventtool charges nothing, the column is hidden entirely.
Minimum fee: On small bookings where the percentage alone would fall below 0,85 €, the Eventtool fee is rounded up to 0,85 €.

How a booking unfolds
- 1 Customer books and pays the list price on the platform — no surcharges.
- 2 Money is held in escrow at Eventtool — vendor receives a confirmed booking.
- 3 On shipping (sale) or after the rental is set up, the customer confirms delivery.
- 4 Eventtool deducts the gateway fee and any Eventtool fee, then pays the rest to the vendor.
