Event2Job — Job board for event staff
Event2Job connects organisers, venues and caterers with event staff: hosts, service crew, technicians, set-up/tear-down teams, DJs and many other roles. Every registered Eventtool user can use both sides — post jobs and offer themselves as a worker.
How does it work?
- Create a worker profile — Introduce yourself, list your roles, hourly rate and travel radius. Organisers find you through this.
- Post a job — Describe the event, date, number of people needed and the role. Matching workers receive an e-mail with a preview.
- Match notifications — When something matches your search filters, you get an e-mail.
- Credit system — Contact details and full profiles are gated behind credits. Both sides pay (organisers to unlock a worker, workers to unlock a posting).
What do credits buy?
- Organisers — Unlock a worker to see contact details and the full profile.
- Workers — Unlock a posting to see organiser contact details before applying.
- Once unlocked, the other side stays visible to you permanently.
- New accounts receive welcome credits.
Tips for good visibility
- A profile picture + 3-4 sentences about your experience boost the match rate noticeably.
- List multiple roles + categories (host + bar service + event set-up).
- Be honest about your travel radius — workers willing to travel 200 km for a single day are rarely attractive.
