Theme world: offers for an occasion
A theme world bundles offers for one occasion – such as Christmas, Halloween or New Year’s Eve – from every area: equipment to rent or buy, event venues and services. It shows two kinds of offers side by side: entries from the provider directory, usually at “Price on request”, and items from the marketplace with a price. The page appears only in countries where there are enough matching offers – so it can look different from country to country, or be missing altogether.
Directory entry or marketplace item?
- Entry from the provider directory (badge “Search result”): usually “Price on request”, check availability with the vendor. If the provider states a price, it is shown on the entry (per day, per hour, flat rate or per person) and is binding only with the provider. Send Inquiry forwards your message to the listed vendor by email; you need a free account to send it. There is no direct booking for these entries.
- Item from the marketplace: the price is on the tile. What is possible there – an inquiry in the chat, a booking or a purchase – is stated on the tile and then on the offer page. Only there does it become binding.
Sections and jump tiles
- The button in the header image (usually See the offers) takes you to the section with the jump tiles below the header image – if there is none, straight to the first section.
- As soon as at least 3 sections are filled, a separate section with tiles appears below the header image. Its heading and the sentence under it differ from topic to topic. Each tile jumps straight to a section, for example shows, decor, catering, venues, market, photos, games or packages. Which sections exist depends on the topic.
- Show all opens one section in full, page by page.
- A note such as “Also for your Christmas party” (with the matching occasion for each topic) marks vendors where the topic appears in the description only: they offer it alongside their main business.
Saving offers
On the tiles you can put an offer into one of your event lists with Add to Event list. As a guest you see the note “Please log in to use this feature.” instead. For rental and service items a small prompt “When are you planning this for?” appears afterwards (This week, In 2 weeks, Pick a date…, Later); answering is optional.
Advertising on the theme world
A banner ad may appear between the sections, and individual tiles may be marked “Ad”. These are paid ad placements booked by providers; they come before the other tiles. They do not imply a price or a commitment – here too, only the offer page is binding.
Offers from your country only
The theme world shows offers from the country selected at the top of the page. Change the country and you see the offers from that country. If something is missing, product search finds further offers from that country.
