The Volume is ledwall.nyc's virtual production package built for in-camera VFX on film and video shoots. It uses a curved and ceiling LED setup of 30x14 feet or larger, combined with camera tracking and genlock for seamless real-time backgrounds. A real-time Unreal Engine team and a virtual production supervisor operate on set throughout the shoot. All-in day rates start around $20,000 and can exceed $50,000 depending on scale. It removes the need for green screen and roto work on qualifying NYC film productions.
