Aether Aerial

Aether Aerial is the aerial photography practice of Paul von Rieter, based in Los Angeles, California. It specializes in cinematic drone photography for luxury weddings, multi-day destination events, and bespoke private commissions. The practice covers the entire California coast—from Big Sur and Carmel through Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego—as well as desert locations like Palm Springs and Joshua Tree, along with select international destinations. Each engagement includes a pre-event site survey, permit filings, and LAANC/FAA authorizations. Deliverables include a curated archival stills edit and a short aerial film. Paul von Rieter holds an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and carries $2 million in aviation liability insurance.
